As a creative person and homeschool mom, I love to make things. When I was in middle school, I would cut out ideas, crafts, decorating tips, recipes, etc. from magazines and categorize and organize them in 3-ring binders. This was before we had instant access everything on the internet. I mean, we did get the internet when I was in middle school, but it was the old dial-up and was not the most convenient. Today, we call what I did, Pinterest!!
I love Pinterest and many other sharing sites. As much as I don’t think we need to re-invent the wheel, I do love making things my own. I like to get ideas and then modify them to fit my needs, my family’s needs, or the needs of my kids.
